From a heritage tourism perspective, The Perfect Storm is the loss of local consumers to the Fast Track leaving empty store fronts in the historic downtown areas ripe for tourism-related enterprises.

The decline of a community's population is often directly attributable to vacancies and deterioration in the downtown area. Improving the 'soul' of your community can restore community pride and, at the same time, attract potential new residents.
Where do we begin?
We assess your historic retail district for vacancies and recommend solutions to fill those spots, how to incorporate existing businesses and how to attract outside retailers by developing a plan of action.
How long will it take?
The assessment can be accomplished in a matter of days. The results may take a few months to a year depending on how hungry your retailers are for NEW tourism revenue.

The lost art of working together can be renewed when participants understand the logic behind reconstruction. There is no better time than now to achieve this than when retailers are anxious to revitalize their profile.
